Sorry for the delay in responding to you - we have had 10 grandchildren at our home (for the last 3 weeks and it has been hectic to say the least). One of my grandchildren (the oldest) is not yet 10 and has gone from a non-swimmer 2 1/2 months ago to the point where she is swimming about 2,000 yards per day in Michigan. I helped work on her stroke this month and saw a marked improvement in a very short time. She is very talented and should break a minute for 100 fly by the time she is twelve. Anyway, Chuck that is the latest from the Bates clan here in Utah. Please relay my best to the guys you see and I will see you in late September for the luncheon and the alumni relays.
