Message and report from Ken Krueger
Attending the El Cholo's lunch
were: Bela Lugosi, Jr.; Ron Orr, Paul Davidson, Dick McDermott, Russ
Kidder, Girl swimmer, Lonna Stacey(sp?) from NCAA winners '96-7 year,
her husband, a lawyer from Bela's firm; Fred Tissue, Steve Saylor, and
Ken Krueger. Great time was had by all. Fitting remembrances of our
departed friend Murray Rose were shared by some. I loved having our
second girl swimmer attend. We must encourage more. They could even
start their own alumni lunches.
Ron Orr gave me some photos of the new Swim Complex to share that I will bring to the next lunch in Irvine May 9.

Friday, Aug. 31 for the Awards Banquet and Sat., Sept 1 for the Alumni Relays and USC vs. Hawaii football game.
Hope that you will all mark this on your calendars now and start making
your plans. It is early in the season and it is Labor Day weekend but
there are limited “home” games and those later season home games are
being used for recruiting weekends.
