2013 Alumni Relays Splits

Unfortunately, not all the information is accurate....(Chuck notes that if you view the splits for Chuck Milam and Don Oliphant, Class of 1967 for the medly fly and free legs, our splits were fastest than the current class of swimmers in the free relays).

If all the lane assignments were executed, as recorded, on the day of the relays, then we have the backbone of getting everyone matched to their respective splits. Some relay cards were missing names, we did have some timing system issues.

In the future we need to have a better system in place for getting the relays and heats set up. We will work on our end to formulate a system and make sure the participants know better what is expected on game day!

A TROJAN MONSTROUS WEEKEND - November 2013

Beginning with a view of the 2 to 4 pm USC Swimming Practice swim workout taking place on Friday, November 15 to the 4 pm hard hat tour of the Uytengsu Aquatics Center under construction, then a 4:30 pm tour of John McKay Center followed by the 5 pm USC Football Pep Rally on Cromwell Field, followed by the Swim and Dive Cocktail Party on the JMC Patio, followed by the 8 pm USC-Northern Arizona basketball game, the first day of the Trojan Alumni Weekend was completed. The second day, November 16 was even more successful beginning with Alumni Relays at 10:45 am, continuing with the 5 pm USC-Stanford football game which included on the field presentation of the Men's Water Polo team alumni in the 2nd quarter of the game, Women's Water Polo alumni at the start of the 3rd quarter, Men and Women's Swimming and Diving alumni at the end of the 3rd quarter followed by the sensational upset of Number 5 ranked Stanford by a score of 20 to 17, it was quite a weekend.
