Mark your calendars for Trojan Swimming events coming up in late September, early October as indicated in the flyer below. Of particular note for golfers and non-golfers alike is the Recognition Banquet to be held at the Galen Center on Friday, October 1, 2010 beginning at 6 pm.
Since it is time for another Trojan Swimmers group get together, the thought is to have a pre-banquet, no host bar beginning at 4 pm at The Lab (i.e. lab for parents, bar for students) located at 3500 Figueroa, next to The Radisson Hotel (with parking across the street at USC in the commercial complex or the USC parking lot just east of the Galen Center, across and next to the 110 Freeway).
The other thought is to meet downstairs in Traditions at the new Student Union (actually the old Norm Topping Conference Center formerly located just south of the old Student Union). This would give us an opportunity to view the huge new complex recently completed on the site of the old Student Union as well as to arrive early before the traffic peaks.
Then there are the Alumni Relays at McDonald's Swim Stadium on Saturday, October 2nd, with check in at 10 am and 11 am relays before the 5 pm home game against Washington.
